IOANK LTD is the controller of personal data collected through this website. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 15285630, with our registered office at 14/2e Docklands Business Centre, 10-16 Tiller Road, London E14 8PX. Contact us about privacy at sales@ioank.domains.
What we collect
- Enquiries: your name, email address, the domain or service you're asking about, your budget and anything you write in your message.
- Sales: details needed to complete a sale or service, such as your registrar account name, company details and invoices.
- Technical data: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and negotiate, which is in our legitimate interests and is a step you ask us to take before a contract.
- To complete a sale, lease or service, which is necessary for our contract with you.
- To keep financial records, which is a legal obligation.
We don't sell your data or use it for advertising. We'll only send you news about new names if you ask us to.
Who we share it with
Only with the services needed to do what you asked:
- The escrow or marketplace service used for your purchase.
- Registrars and registries, to transfer a domain.
- Our email, hosting and form providers, which process data for us under contract.
- For brokerage, the domain owner, but only the details you agree to share. By default we don't reveal who you are.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or approved contract clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries that don't lead to a sale for up to 24 months, then delete them. We keep records of completed sales and services for six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as required for tax.
Cookies
This website doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict its use. Email sales@ioank.domains and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
